Whats Happening....

Kev and I leave January 4th to begin our amazing journey around the world! We will begin in Bangkok Thailaand where we will explore Bankok and then venture out and island hop, ride some elephants, lay with tigers, and ride some ziplines through the mountains! We have gotten some great recomednations from many of you, thanks so much for all your help.



After a lovely three weeks in Thailand, we continue on to Oz! We arrive in Sydney on January 25th...we have a working visa that is valid for 1 year so for now our plan is up in the air! We will find a job, place to live, learn the aussy way of life, travel, and of course learn to surf! If anyone is up for the long flight over we would love some visitors!

Whats been going on here is Oz...

Things here are coming along! I have a job, phew, its not great but its something right?!!? its a small restaurant, very slow, not busy, and unable to meet anyone because I am in the only waitress/bartender working during a shift. But....I got a new job last night, yayy!!! Its an awesome bar/tapas restaurant in Broadbeach. Night life is great, live music every night, fun bar, busy, and the staff is awesome. I also talked with the manager about putting Kev on the bar, and they have given him a trial run this saturday night, fingers crossed! This is definitely what we have been looking for, and exactly what we need.

Lets see what else has been happening.....we went surfing down in Crumbin with a surf coach who has one all different surf competitions, sponsored by all the major companies, and he also designs his own boards. His name is Macker! It was a lot of fun, learned a lot. Now its just practice practice practice for us on our boards. 

Monday nights is bowling night for us! If you spend $6 at the bar you get a free round, PERFECT!

Today we are going to swing down the Quicksilver Pro, which is a surf competition going on down in Tweed Heads. Kelly Slater is surfing in it so hopefully we get to see him in action.

    Congratulations on your job. That must take a load off your mind. Still sounds like you and Kev are having the time of your lives.
